SILO

The Silo / Doris Dev partnership was a strong match from the start. Silo had ideated their connected safe concept, and were able to build an incredible design, engineering and software team in NYC to flesh out their initial product concept. By partnering with Doris Dev, the lead Silo engineers were able to lean on the experienced Doris Dev engineers based in Hong Kong, with years of connected hardware & manufacturing experience, during the initial prototyping phases to help lead an iterative prototyping and development process. Furthermore, Doris Dev was able to use its extensive network in Asia to help engage an world-class safe manufacturer, alongside an electronics manufacturer to build its custom computer powered LCD panel, and led the complete integration of the complex connected hardware development and validation processes into a new supply chain. 

Design, Development & Prototyping

Doris Dev led the iterative prototyping of the initial Silo designs, from multiple versions of Looks-Like through Works-Like prototypes. 

 Connected Hardware Oversight

Doris Dev helped setup and handle a complex supply chain for Silo, including establishing manufacturing and validation testing oversight for the embedded electronics to be integrated at the Safe manufacturing facility.
